Audrey McDonnell '29 of Herkimer, New York, received the General Chemistry Achievement Award during Honors Convocation on April 29. This award is presented based on student performance in Chemistry 107 and 108, or Chemistry 109.

Sarah Matumbura '26 of Waterbury, Connecticut, received the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Award for Superior Scholarship in Auditing during Honors Convocation on April 29. This award is based upon the nomination of the accounting faculty. At the Hartwick College Student Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 21, Matumbura was presented the Admissions George F. Goodwin Award. Each spring, the College honors students for their contributions to the community during the Student Leadership Awards Ceremony.

Hannah Makuch '26 of Carthage, New York, received the Linda S. French '85 Memorial Award in Business Administration during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established in 1986 by the members of the Economics and Business Administration faculty in memory of French, this award is made to a graduating senior major who has been a leader in the department. Additionally, Makuch was presented with the American Chemical Society Award, which recognizes outstanding work by a senior in chemistry or biochemistry.

Maya MacCarthy '29 of Rocky Point, New York, received the Peter D. Junemann '65 Memorial Award during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established by Dr. and Mrs. Henry R. Junemann in memory of their son, the income is to provide a scholarship to outstanding music majors.

Johanna Lynip '27 of Cambridge, New York, was recognized as an Andrew B. Saxton Undergraduate Fellow in Geological & Environmental Sciences and History during Honors Convocation on April 29. Fellows are selected by faculty in each department to honor outstanding achievement in their respective fields. They serve as student assistants within their major department and receive a tuition credit.

Fellows are selected by faculty in each department to honor outstanding achievement in their respective fields. Natalie O'Malley '27 of Pleasantville, New York, was named Faculty Scholar in Economics during Honors Convocation on April 29. Faculty Scholars have excellent academic records and have demonstrated an outstanding mastery of their respective disciplines. Rising seniors are nominated by the faculty of their major departments on the basis of academic achievement, leadership and character. In addition, O'Malley was awarded the Community Bank N.A. Scholarship in Memory of Linda S. French '85. Established by Wilber National Bank, now Community Bank N.A., with a gift from the bank's Board of Directors, the income provides a scholarship for a business administration major.

Dahlia Landry '27 of New York, New York, received the Deborah M. Allen Brennan Memorial Scholarship during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established by Professor Emeritus Daniel Allen H'94 and Constance Hartley Allen '72 in memory of their daughter, the award is given to an outstanding biology student who is interested in research and who is a junior at the time of Honors Convocation.

Michael Kuchinski '26 of Owego, New York, received the Departmental Award for Excellence in Computer and Information Science during Honors Convocation on April 29. This award recognizes students who have done outstanding work in their field.

Simi Kishore '26 of South Plainfield, New Jersey, received the Franz Boas Award in Anthropology during Honors Convocation held on April 29. This award is presented to a graduating senior based on exemplary performance and service to the Anthropology Department.

Emma Kargoe '28 of Leeds, New York, was recognized as an Andrew B. Saxton Undergraduate Fellow in Music Education during Honors Convocation on April 29. Fellows are selected by faculty in each department to honor outstanding achievement in their respective fields. They serve as student assistants within their major department and receive a tuition credit. Additionally, Kargoe was awarded the Duncan B. Smith Award for Exceptional Creativity in Theater. This award is presented to a student who has produced exceptionally creative work for a theatre class or production. Selected by the Theatre Arts faculty, the student receives a seminal text in the subject.

Ellie Kalbach '26 of Spring City, Pennsylvania, received the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital Excellence in Clinical Practice Award during Honors Convocation held on April 29. This is awarded to a graduating senior nursing major in recognition of excellence in clinical nursing.

Logan Hehner '26 of West Palm Beach, FL, received the Alice Dornet Award in Psychology during Honors Convocation on April 29. The award was established to recognize outstanding academic achievement by students in psychology. At the Hartwick College Student Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 21, Hehner was presented the Admissions George F. Goodwin Award. Each spring, the College honors students for their contributions to the community during the Student Leadership Awards Ceremony.

Meghan Harrington '27 of Oneonta, New York, received the Alfred F. Massari Memorial Language Award during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established by family and friends in memory of Al Massari, a former professor of French at Hartwick College, the award is presented to a first-year student studying a foreign language.

Brynita Haas '26 of Red Creek, New York, was presented with the Frederick M. Binder H'85 Scholar-Athlete Award during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established in memory of former Hartwick College president Dr. Frederick M. Binder, this prize is given to a senior whose four years at Hartwick are a cumulative reflection of excellence in both scholarship and athletics.

Steven Grossman '27 of Magnolia, Delaware received the John Clemens Scholarship for Study in Business during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established by alumni, friends, family and colleagues of Professor Emeritus John Clemens, the Scholarship is awarded annually to a rising senior with financial need, demonstrated leadership and a GPA of 3.5 or higher in both business administration and overall.

Benjamin Gollis-Pedelaborde '28 of Florence, Massachusetts, received the President Margaret L. Drugovich P'12 Award for Personal Courage during Honors Convocation on April 29. Established by Elizabeth Steele P'12, the award is presented to a qualified rising sophomore, junior, or senior Hartwick College student with demonstrated financial need who has faced adversity and is persevering.

Madison Griffith '29 of Oneonta, New York, received the Semenenko Clark Award for Outstanding First Year Art Major during Honors Convocation on April 29. This award was established by Christine Semenenko P'09 to assist with retention and recognition of exceptional first year students in Art.

Jackson Frame '26 of Ballston Lake, New York, received the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Award for Superior Scholarship in Accounting during Honors Convocation on April 29. This award is based upon the nomination of the accounting faculty.

Jillian Ferrie '26 of Middle Grove, New York, was presented with the SOAR Award during the Hartwick Hawks Athletic Awards Banquet on May 3. Ferrie, a member of the women's tennis team, was named the inaugural recipient of the award for consistently embodying the core values of Strive, Overcome, Achieve and Resilience through perseverance, leadership and dedication both on and off the court.
